The Chair opened the meeting, acknowledged traditional owners, outlined the hybrid format and agenda, and introduced the CEO, directors, Company Secretary, auditor, and share registry representatives.
Voting was conducted by poll with instructions for both in-person and online participants, and opportunities for questions throughout, including a dedicated Q&A session.
Financial performance review
Revenue grew 18.7% to $1,187.1 million, with underlying EBITDA of $138.2 million and NPATA up 6.5% to $55.8 million.
Operating cash flow before interest and tax was $117.3 million; EPS was $0.19, down 0.3 cents from the previous year.
Paid fully franked interim, final, and special dividends totaling $0.064 per share; share buyback program purchased 9 million shares at $3.97 average.
Market share of on-net NBN services increased to 8.4%, broadband connections grew to 788,000, and mobile services rose to 216,000.
Symbio contributed $39.4 million to EBITDA, with $6 million in synergies.
Board and executive committee updates
Leadership transitioned from founder Phillip Britt to Brian Maher as Group CEO; Britt remains as Non-Executive Director and Special Advisor.
Graham Barclay and Sarah Adam-Gedge joined as Non-Executive Directors after a comprehensive recruitment process; Patrick Green retired.
The Board consists of experienced directors with diverse backgrounds in telecommunications, finance, and technology.
The business was realigned into Residential, Business/Enterprise/Government, and Wholesale segments, each led by a Group Executive.
