Executive summary
Net sales rose 2.8% year-over-year to ¥164,462 million for the nine months ended December 31, 2025, with operating profit flat at ¥8,176 million and ordinary profit up 13.5% to ¥9,626 million. Profit attributable to owners increased 3.9% to ¥6,200 million.
The Japanese economy showed moderate recovery, but uncertainty persists due to rising energy costs, labor shortages, and global instability. Construction demand remained firm, though new housing starts were weak.
Financial highlights
Gross profit increased to ¥44,998 million from ¥43,641 million year-over-year, while selling, general and administrative expenses rose to ¥36,821 million.
Basic earnings per share for the nine months was ¥87.76, up from ¥83.88 a year earlier.
Comprehensive income was ¥5,557 million, slightly down from ¥5,605 million in the prior year.
Outlook and guidance
Full-year forecasts remain unchanged: net sales of ¥240,000 million (up 5.1% year-over-year), operating profit of ¥16,800 million (up 14.1%), ordinary profit of ¥16,500 million (up 11.7%), and profit attributable to owners of ¥11,500 million (down 12.6%).
