Executive summary
Operating profit for the second quarter was JPY 438.1 billion, down 41% year-over-year, mainly due to one-time EV-related expenses and tariff impacts, while motorcycle operations achieved record sales and profits, offsetting declines in Vietnam with strong performance in Brazil and other regions.
Automobile operations posted a JPY 73 billion operating loss, impacted by tariffs, semiconductor shortages, and one-time EV expenses, despite positive price revisions.

Automobile unit sales forecast reduced from 3.62 million to 3.34 million due to semiconductor shortages and lower sales in China and ASEAN.
Motorcycle unit sales forecast maintained at 21.3 million, with regional shifts expected to offset Vietnam declines.
Full-year dividend forecast remains at JPY 70 per share.
