Executive summary
Q3 2025 revenue was NT$24.57 billion, down 6% quarter over quarter and 11.8% year over year, but at the high end of guidance due to NTD appreciation and fading China subsidies and US tariff effects.
Q3 2025 net income was NT$3.65 billion, down 2% sequentially and 30.5% year over year; EPS for Q3 was NT$6.01.
For the first nine months of 2025, revenue was NT$77.85 billion, flattish year over year, but net income declined 18.6% to NT$12.66 billion; EPS for the period was NT$20.80.
Operating expense increased 8% quarter over quarter, mainly due to higher R&D spending.
Consolidated financials were prepared under Taiwan regulations and IAS 34, with a qualified audit opinion due to minor unreviewed subsidiaries.
Financial highlights
Q3 2025 gross margin was 36.3%, down from 39.7% a year ago; Q3 gross profit was NT$8.9 billion, down 6% quarter over quarter and 19% year over year.
Q3 2025 operating income was NT$3.86 billion, down 20% quarter over quarter and 38% year over year.
Cash and cash equivalents at September 30, 2025, were NT$39.66 billion, down from NT$54.72 billion at June 30, 2025, and from NT$48.77 billion at December 31, 2024, mainly due to dividend distribution.
Inventory at Q3 end was NT$9.2 billion, with inventory days at 59, up by one day from Q2; Q4 inventory expected to remain stable.
For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, gross margin was 37.5% and net margin was 16.3%.
Outlook and guidance
Q4 revenue is expected to decline to NT$22-23 billion due to seasonal weakness in consumer electronics and IT.
Q4 gross margin is guided at 35%-38%, with operating margin at 14.5%-17.5%.
For 2026, revenue is expected to grow steadily, supported by new product launches and rising demand for AI-enabled edge devices.
Gross margin in 2026 will depend on FX, gold prices, and raw material costs; efforts are ongoing to manage cost increases with suppliers and customers.
Management expects no material impact from newly adopted or upcoming accounting standards.
