PowerCo secures the entire output of the new LFP production facility for at least ten years.
Production capacity and facility expansion
Production capacity for battery materials will be increased approximately fivefold through a new facility at the Bitterfeld site.
Construction of the new facility begins this year, with completion and production start scheduled by 2028 at the latest.
Financing for the expansion is already fully secured.
Financial and growth outlook
Expected annual sales revenues from the long-term agreement are in the mid- to high double-digit million-euro range from 2028 onwards.
Significant increases in annual sales and earnings are anticipated from 2028, driven by the expanded battery business.
